Phi Sigma Kappa FSU Spring Rush 2016

Phi Sigma Kappa Philanthropy

Muscular Dystrophy Association | MDA Fighting Muscle Disease
One of the most rewarding experiences that come from being a member of a fraternity is the opportunity it gives each brother to make an impact on the world and local community through philanthropy or assisting non-profit organizations. Philanthropy and community service are very important to each fraternity & sorority on Florida State’s campus, as well as each chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa. FSU’s Beta Septaton Chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa is dedicated to promoting awareness of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and proud to be involved in the fight against Muscular Dystrophy — a cause that affects one of our very own Phi Sig brothers.

Each school-year our chapter hosts two philanthropic events to help raise funds and awareness for the MDA. In the fall, AOII presents Mud Olympics where we are able to help with a cause that is personal to the Iota Chapter and is picked each year. Our Spring philanthropy event allows our chapter to educate the Greek community on our national cause, the Arthritis Foundation. We take great pride in being able to support both foundations and involve the community with what is important to us as AOIIs. We also give back to the rest of the Greek Community by participating in other fraternity and sorority philanthropies here on campus throughout the year.

The brotherhood of Phi Sigma Kappa hosts an annual music festival aiming to benefit The Muscular Dystrophy Association. Please join us in the fight against MDA, contact if interested in donating to a cause that affects one of our very own brothers.

MDA is the world’s leading nonprofit health organization sponsoring research seeking the causes of and effective treatments for neuromuscular diseases. MDA research grants currently are supporting more than 250 projects worldwide.FSU Phi Sigma Kappa Rock The House for MDA 2014
